The vehicle manufacturer FUSO was born when Mitsubishi Motors Corporation separated its commercial vehicle division from the passenger car segment in 2003 and became part of the former Daimler Chrysler Group. In the spring of 2006, MFTBC joined the truck division, organized as part of Daimler Chrysler. It is now an integral part of Daimler Truck AG.

FUSO supplies trucks and buses to more than 170 countries, supporting transport and businesses not only in Japan but all over the world. It is particularly well-known for its offers in the light commercial vehicle segment-the Canter truck has a leading market share in various markets around the world. It is famous for its versatile body options, has a high payload capacity and a robust ladder arm.

In 2017 the brand began the production of e-Canter-the first serial electric light truck in Japan, making FUSO a pioneer in the field of electromobility. FUSO aims to maintain its position as a popular and trusted brand - it intends to create products with quality, environmental protection, and safety as top priorities.
